During the first stage of intensive growth, the Maxi puppy builds its skeleton. It gains 130 g per day on average, reaching 50% of its adult weight in only 5 months. During this time its digestive system is still fragile.
Building its skeleton
To ensure the development of its skeleton, the Maxi puppy needs twice as much energy as an adult. Meanwhile, its still immature digestive system prevents it from assimilating large quantities of food. Overloading the digestive system can lead to diarrhoea with adverse effects on health.
Even the fusiest puppies will be satisfied thanks to a kibble with well-adapted size, shape and texture and carefully selected aromas.
