This internal filter is suitable for smaller aquariums. The aquarium should not exceed the size of 45 litres for ensuring a proper water cleaning. The water cleaning happens in 2 phases:
1st phase:
biological cleaning by a sponge
2nd phase:
chemical cleaning by a special active carbon.
